1. Introduction

Design Zone ("we", "us") helps restaurants run digital menus and QR ordering. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we handle when you use www.designzoneqr.com, the owner dashboard and related tools, and the Design Zone QR mobile app for restaurant owners (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Doleswar Rana, Junagarh, Odisha 766014, India.

2. Information we collect

Restaurant accounts

When you sign up as a restaurant, we collect what you add to run your venue: business and contact details, login email, optional phone or WhatsApp, menu content (text, images, prices), table setup, and subscription status. If you enter optional billing or invoice-related fields in your account, we store those too—you are responsible for keeping them accurate.

Diners (guests ordering)

When someone orders through your QR link, we may process table or area identifiers, cart contents, notes, and any optional fields you ask for. In-venue or online payments for food and drink go through the payment setup you configure; we do not store full card numbers or UPI PINs.

Payments to Design Zone

Subscription charges for our software are processed by Razorpay (or another checkout partner we display at payment time). We receive payment status and references needed for your account—we do not receive or store your full card or UPI credentials on our servers.

Technical data

We use services such as Firebase (Google) for sign-in, database, storage, and notifications; and hosting or analytics (for example Vercel) for the marketing site. Those providers receive limited technical data needed to run the Service (identifiers, logs, error context). We may use tools such as Sentry for error monitoring on the web app.

Support messages

If you email us or use a contact form, we keep your message and contact details so we can reply.

3. How we use information

• Provide menus, ordering, subscriptions, and owner tools
• Authenticate accounts and sync data across devices
• Send service notifications you opt into (for example new orders)
• Process subscription payments with our payment partner
• Keep the Service secure, fix bugs, and understand aggregate usage where we use analytics
• Respond to support requests
• Meet legal requirements and address abuse

4. Retention and security

We use reputable cloud infrastructure and reasonable safeguards. No online service is perfectly secure—please use a strong password and protect your credentials. Data may be processed in India and other regions where our providers operate, as needed to deliver the Service.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with subprocessors that power the Service (including Google Firebase, Razorpay for Design Zone subscription payments, and hosting or monitoring vendors), when required by law, or to protect rights and safety.

6. Your choices

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your account data by contacting us below. Diner requests about a specific order are usually best handled by the restaurant; we can help owners as needed. Where we send marketing, you can opt out using the instructions in the message.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies needed for login, preferences, and basic site measurement. You can control cookies in your browser; blocking some may limit features.

8. Children

The Service is for businesses and adults. It is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

9. Updates

We may update this policy and will change the date at the top. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
